Attend to the whole body, relaxing, easing stress and anxiety, or we can focus on specific bodywork with intentions to overcome challenges experienced within the body. We’ll discuss our intentions in the moments before we begin your session.

what we can do for you

  • Manual therapy using Traditional Chinese Medicine Channels and Points (the same as acupuncturists!) to relief pain and muscle tension

  • Therapeutic bodywork modality using gentle pressure on specific zones of the feet. By working the feet, we can work the whole body. Relaxation, stress relief, relief tension, increase blood flow - oldest documentation of reflexology came from ancient Egyptians!

  • A gentle relaxation massage including long strokes and kneading focusing on general superficial muscle tension and nervous system relaxation encouraging lymph drainage and venous return.

  • Therapeutic bodywork modality using touch, assisted stretching and joint rotations to gently affect change within the physical and subtle body.

  • Craniosacral Techniques, Trigger Point, Thai Massage, Myofascial Release, Prenatal, Postnatal, Infant/pediatric, Aromatherapy, Crystal Healing, Herbalism. Additional training in treating low back pain, arthritis and anxiety disorders

Hey there! I'm Melanie

I use bodywork to help you understand your body. Working together we bridge the conversation between your mind and your body.

We discover how to take care of you, while experiencing a healing environment that allows you to surrender the stress and anxiety of life and allows you to feel present in your body. I can’t wait to meet you at the table

  • Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Melanie graduated from Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick Massachusetts. Her experience at the performing arts boarding school with an immersive and intensive dance training shaped her entire life’s trajectory. She went on to study at SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance as well as the Boston Conservatory before the injuries became too many to count, ultimately switching gears to her Massage Therapy education. She graduated from New York College of Health Professions in 2016. She continues to be a student of movement alongside her bodywork training.

that’s not all

  • Parking is available at the meters both on street and in the parking lot across the street. If you are parking in the lot please park in a spot with a number and pay at the kiosk or on the app. Un numbered spots are for commuters with permits. Parking is up to a 3 hour limit, please allow ample time for your session. Meter prices are 1 quarter per half hour, there is also an app but I don’t know anything about that, please seek other sources for assistance.

  • Currently, my office does not have an elevator and is not handicapped accessible, please bear in mind if you have difficulty going up and down stairs.

  • You may pay in advance here online, or in person following your session. Payments can be made in cash, credit card, check, Venmo or Zelle.

  • If you arrive late, I may not be able to guarantee your entire session. Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes early to ensure we’ll be able to use your full session for bodywork and use those moments beforehand to catch up about the weather.

  • Please let me know by 9pm the night before your session if you will be unable to make it, we will reschedule and there will be no charge.

    If you let me know you will be unable to make it the same day as your session before session time there will be a $25 cancellation charge

  • Clients under 18 years of age require a parent/guardian signature and clients 13 years and under require a parent/guardian present for the entire duration of the appointment.
